Your Greatest Lesson is When You Teach

The other day, there was a fellow climber who was attempting to do a route. I noticed she was struggling to pass a particular section, I offered my advice to her. As there were other more senior climbers there, honestly, I was not confident if the advice I offered was right.

Well turned out what I did was ok and I also learnt a few other techniques. I also realized the technique that I was using may not be the best as it requires more strength but it suited the type of climber I am.

Leadership Activities: Don't believe me... Feel it!

We often prefer to be given our lessons. However, sometimes the greatest lessons comes when you are coaching or teaching someone else. The person that learns the most is actually the coach rather than the student.

You don't have to be an expert to start offering your advice, in fact, you should offer your advice today and be really prepared to learn!
